The Faded Page offers presentations over Stirring Up History and historical women in Clay County, led by author Cheryl McCann.

Cheryl has been engaged by many organizations, including the Daughters of the American Revolution, Mid-Continent Public Library, the Clay County Museum & Historical Society, and Sertoma.

Who needs help with research?

Cheryl offers help with Genealogy research on your family tree as well as for historical backgrounds of people, places and sometimes things for books and articles you might be writing about. 

 

Photo storage a problem?

Let us help you scan, and digitize your photos for you.  We can save them to a flash drive or up in the cloud.  Professional cleaning of dust and debris before scanning as well as the preservation of original documents in an Acid-Free Archival box can also be included

Cheryl has taken the Fundamentals of Archives Preservation class, offered by the Records and Archives Division of the Office of the Secretary of the State, and the Care and Repair of Documents workshop, presented by the conservation staff of the Local Records Preservation Program.
